currently taking actonel.considering reclast. have osteoarthritis and osteopenia
Hi rarnoff, welcome and thanks for your question. I can give you an "approximate" price, but I don't know the actual amount. If you have insurance your carrier should give you this info over the phone. This drug isn't covered under your perscription benefits plan but it is covered under your medical/hospital coverage since it's administered at an infusion center and you don't get it filled at a pharmacy. If you need help with the cost, be sure to check the link below with that info and more.
Here's a link to another member's post who asked the same question. See all the links on it so you can see if any of them would help you with the price.
Good luck, and if you find out the retail price could you let us know?
I just got the insurance benefit document from my first reclast injection and the cost was about $5500. and it said I 'may' owe something around $900.00. I have insurance through my husband's employment (this was mine) also so I hope that will cover some of the cost.
