Hi I just checked that link and it does give some ideas for balance exercise, and stair climbing is one of them.  Just be sure to read the whole page, and then at the bottom I definitely recommend downloading the free pamphlet (pdf) for "Download NOF's Moving Safely Handout."  You'll need Adobe reader on your computer to download, but if you don't have it, you should be able to download the free application from that page.  I use Adobe pdf all the time so it's worth having since so many web pages come in this format, and I link to pdf files all the time.  On the NOF site the download link for this pamphlet is in red/maroon at the bottom of the page, where it says "Download NOF's Moving..." where here at (Osteo Connection, ours are in blue).   Hope this helps...
