Thanks for your question. I would direct your attention to a very similar question, as well as its answer. The short answer is that your mom should talk to her doctor about the pain, but that she is not alone in experiencing it. The FDA has warned that severe bone pain may result from taking bisphosphonates (the group to which Reclast belongs). Hope this helps.
