Has anyone experienced a weight gain with Evista?

Weight gain is not listed as a side-effect of the drug, but I have gained 8 pounds in 6 months time. I have not changed my diet habits and I have been exercising more since diagnosed with severe osteoporosis.

Hi Carin, I'm on Evista too but I haven't had any weight gain recently. Maybe some of the other members will chime in here and tell you about their experiences. I know my problem is a slower metabolism from age. I used to burn food really fast, but now I don't. This is a common problem with aging. I don't know if this is the case for you but it's a possibility.
