Q: osteoperosis in metapausal women

What types of treatment are there for osteoporosis in metapausal women? My wife is only 40 and has a T score of -2.1.

Thank you for your question. There are several types of medication available for the treatment of osteoporosis. You can read more about these medications here. Bisphosphonates are the most common medications used, but there are several other options available as well. I hope this helps!
