Don't let RA limit your routineLearn more now about a treatment that may help
Monday, April 20, 2009 Mary Marshall asks

Q: Dosage, pill or injection?

I have had numerous fractures (pelvis, ribs and feet) over the past three years.  Currently I am taking Relafen 500 mg. 2X day) and Aredia Y injection every three months. I am 76 year old female in relative good health.  When not suffering with a fracture I am active in my home and yard.

Hi Mary, so sorry to hear about your fractures! I hope you've healed from all of them.  I'm glad that you are still able to be active in your home and yard that's great and provides weight bearing exercise for you, plus it's good for over all well being.  Do you have a question about the Aredia or is everything going ok?  As far as I know, Aredia only comes in the infusion/injection form, if that's what you are asking.

I'm not sure what your question is, but would be happy to help if you could provide more detail.  Don't hesitate to post again if you have more information for us.

Good luck...
