Hi Penny: I'm sorry you are having so much trouble with forteo. I wouldn't alter my dosing *without* my Drs approval. If the side effects are too much to handle discuss this with your Dr and see if s(he) can come up with a better idea. Headache is listed as one of the side effects, in the package insert, so I don't know if it will go away or not. I took forteo and didn't have any side effects so it just depends on your system and how it metabolizes the medication. I hope the headaches go away soon...
