Hi JoyceB, it depends on how well you heal after the surgery, so ask the Dr and oral surgeon to let you know when you should restart the Fosamax. The Dr/oral surgeon probably can't answer this question right now because there's no way to determine how fast you'll heal. Good luck with the surgery and I hope you heal fast. Just be sure to let the area heal before you start the med again, and have the surgeon evaluate this for you. Good luck...
