Q: Been tested for pain in numerous joints, fatigue, cold intolerance, etc. So far nothing conclusive - Any way Actonel responsible?? Started med in March 2004 - first severe joint pain in spring 2005

Hi MG, welcome...There's know way to know for sure if the Actonel is causing this problem, unless your doctor discontinued it for a time to see if the side effects went away.  Be sure to have your doctor handle this, if that's what you decide to do.

 

Actonel can cause joint pain and fatigue, but I haven't heard of cold intolerance.  Here's a link from the Institute of Medicine on Actonel that list all the side effects.  Talk to your doctor about trying to find out if this is the cause.
