Hi Wolfterra, welcome and thanks for your question.  No Actonel isn't used for diabetes.  To double check ask your Dr. but I can't think of any reason why this type of drug would have an effect on blood sugar levels.

 

Ask the Dr. if there is any reason why you shouldn't take it if you have diabetes, but it's not used to treat it.
