before i get my injection of reclasp do i need to do anything
female, age 50, i have a brain tumor which in non operatable, i received 25 radiation treatments, it is now shrinking, it was wraped around my carotid artery, pitutary gland and left eye. i coudl not take actonal or fosamax, made me sick.

In addition to making sure your doctor knows your complete medical history and is aware of all the other medications you are taking, it is common for doctors to prescribe additional blood tests before conduction an infusion of Reclast (to check levels of blood calcium, kidney function and other health factors). Before the infusion, it is also important to drink plenty of water and ask your doctor what you should do if you develop common side effects related to Reclast (such as flu-like symptoms.) Good luck!
