polycythemia vera and reclast

My mother is 91 and is advised to take reclast she does have a blood disorder called polycythemia vera which is under control. What is your opnion on this.

Hi polycythemia welcome and thanks for your question. Your Dr. would be the only one who could advise you on this. Does your mother have a Hematologist that she could consult or ask the Dr. prescribing the infusion. Since this is a blood disorder you need to make sure that it's ok to proceed with the infusion.
You could also contact the drug company and ask one of the nurses or representatives to see if they would give you any info. Here's the link to their web site.
