Had the Reclast infusion on Nov. 16th, 2010, was  very sick with flu like symptoms sooooo bad. Fever was 102.9 for about 2 days and than dropped to 100. for about 3 days. A week or so later my right wrist and hand hurt so severly and was very swollen. I called the DR and she said go to ER, so I did and they put it in splint. Now I have never ever had pain in my hands EVER. I am a cleaning lady, I bowl everyweek. Now i can hardly move them at all ...Elbow is starting to hurt to bend but my wrists are the Worst...Never ever would i do this again. I have not worked since I recieved the infusion. Called Dr again crying telling her she said the pain was the medicine being absorbed into my bones and if it still hurt in a week to go to Orthopedic Dr. Now never in my life have I had problems and she wants me to see an ortho...I am so angry and in such pain that I wasnt told more about this drug... :(
