Hi Debbie,   I would recommend contacting your doctor about the pain you are experiencing. The FDA put this information out in January about the use of bisphosphonates, the class of drugs to which Reclast belongs. Bisphosphonates have been reported to cause severe pain, as well as some flu-like symptoms (chills, fever, pains). The symptoms may show up within days to years after starting the medication, and can resolve shortly after discontinuation. In some patients, however, the symptoms resolve slowly or may not resolve completely. I hope this helps.   Best of luck, Casey
