Q: which kinds of exercise should you not do if you have osteoporosis

I WAS TOLD THAT BENDING OR TWISTING WAS NOT GOOD FOR THE SPINE, IF SO GIVE

ME AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT THEY ARE TAKING ABOUT.

Some examples of exercises that are not recommended for those with osteoporosis include touching your toes or using a rowing machine. Exercise is important for those with osteoporosis. Because you may need a bone density test and a fitness assessment first, consult a doctor before beginning an exercise program. For examples of good exercises, The Mayo Clinic offers a good slideshow.

i think you should ask you doctor on what they mean on no bending and twisting..

 

casue if someone tells you wrong and you do something you could really hurt yourself and not beable to do anything..
