Hi, My mom has osteo.. Her t-score is -2.8. We are not sure how bad that is but have been told that it is bad enough she should take forteo. She has had one fracture in her back already. My 75 year old mom is in the hospital recovering from a fractured wrist and arm. She lives with me. I am scared to leave her home alone, yet I can't afford private pay for in home services. I wonder whether there has been any studies on women who wear high-heeled shoes as opposed to flats and their likelihood in developing osteoporosis.
