How To Prevent Falls

I would like to hear from caregivers of those affected by osteoporosis as to how they prevent falls (e.g. overnight) of those for whom they are caring. Has anyone experienced fatigue after completing Forteo?

My 80 year old mother in law has been taking Forteo for 18 mos. She recently (2 months ago) experienced an onset of extreme vertigo causing her to be hospitilized.
