Low Vitamin D Levels

Low vitamin D level may up death risk

A new study has again linked low vitamin D levels with an increased risk of death. Austrian researchers say that in a study of 3,258 patients, those with the lowest vitamin D levels were twice as likely to die from heart disease and other causes as those with the highest levels. This study is the latest of several trials that have linked vitamin D to diseases such as cancer, diabetes, obesity, and hypertension. Read more »
