FDA Approves Injectable Osteoporosis Drug

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Prolia to promote bone strength and reduce the risk of fractures in postmenopausal women. Prolia is an injectable drug taken once every six months that works by blocking cells responsible for breaking down bones.
