Always been positive in my life. Knowing that no matter what, God'll get me through it. Knew in my heart there is hope and always an answer, need to step back and allow God to show me. However, as I became an adult and the chronic pain increased and major challenges were beginning to happen more often, I become scared, frustrated and confused. I didn't know how to cope with challenges I couldn't fix permanently. I began to distance myself and turn to controlling food as a way of coping. Eventually developed an eating disorder, I became empty physically and emotionally. Always had art to express myself, as I couldn't form words to describe or understand pain. Through my recovery process, I reached out to God through art and God spoke to me through the creative process. Each piece is a symbol of where I was and where I am in life, in my relationship with God, how he has healed me and made me complete in him. The pain and physical body allowes me the choice to fall into deep depression or chose to reach out to God and express that on the canvas or the camera.Through this journey, God has put it on my heart to design a non-profit called Honeybees Fly to help support Artists with Disabilities.
