I have been struggling with GERD for the past 3 years with no relief. I have been from doctor to doctor and have had many tests. I am in pain 24 hours per day.

I have modified my entire lifestyle to help with the severity and still no relief. I had quit smoking (was to 1.5 packs for 20 years), lost weight (40 lbs.), avoid the slightest spices and acidic foods, have taken every medication possible and every combination possible and loads of tums daily (12 - 40 per day, depending).

I had 3 endoscopies, 1 Bravo PH test (Demeester score 60.2), Hida scan (10% ejection fraction), found Hiatal Hernia, esophagitis. I have reflux in any position (upright or laying down). I have reflux any time of day and throughout the day.

I just want to be fixed. If anyone knows a good doctor that may be able to help me - I am in Northern Illinois.
