In 2001 I was diagnosed with RSD, which now is in remission. About 4 years ago I was diagnosed with RA. I have tried Enbrel/Methotrexate which didn't work for me and so my doctor put me on Remicade and Leflunomide which have been miracle drugs. I usually only get flares when it's time for my next treatment. Hopefully with the last med adjustment, that won't happen again. I had shoulder and wrist surgery this past year and so I am able to lead a more active life. This also helps in keeping my joints more flexible. I hope that on the horison some new med will be found that will help all people who suffer from this painful disease.
