I was the picture of good health until I turned 35 then I don't know what happened. I lived in Germany and I got sick but was not in a location where I could go to a doctor. After that my breathing messed up and I was diagnosed with reactive airways diseased as opposed to asthma. Then a year later I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and fibromyalgia. When I was 43 I developed cervical AND ovarian cancers so had a radical hysterectomy/oopherectomy. I tore my Lf rotator cuff but it's so small surgery couldn't be performed but the pain was so great and wouldn't go away so I was put on Trazadone because I wasn't sleeping. Within about 3 months I was sleeping and the pain in my RC diminished (but to this day still hurts a little). Then when I was 45 my left arm "froze" and I couldn't move it, had to go through physical therapy to fix that -owey! At 47, I developed GERD, I'm pretty sure from taking Celebrex so now I'm on daily medication for that. And of course then there is the family inherited battle of depression and migraines. So anyway, it's a real drag. Now I read that Vytorin isn't what it's supposed to be. I've been on Zocor alone, it didn't help control the hig Chol., so I was on Lipitor but I'm one of those few who was effected by the strange side effect of memory loss. That was so bad that I thought I was developing Alzheimer's Disease because it does run in my family and both my parents have it now. But I told my doc to take my off and to let me try Vytorin, that's when it was new. The memory problems ended but my cholesterol climbed with Vytorin 10/40, so I was put on Vytorin 10/80. My cholesterol fell back down to near healthy with the 10/80 -- and now I read all this bad news about Vytorin...PHOTOS:
