ABOUT ME:

I have a new job as a Disability Examiner. I make the medical determination of whether or not disabled individuals can receive benefits for social security disability insurance. Personally, I suffer through ever day in pain, but always with a smile on my face. My joints have hurt off and on since I was about 11 years old, but my pain has really intensified just prior to getting diagnosed with RA at 30. I'm nervous about what the future will hold for me as the pain some days is already pretty intense. No kids or husband yet. I'm worried about how RA will affect both. I do have a boyfriend, but I hide a lot from him as far as how I'm feeling. I love animals. My pets are what gets me through. Actually, my family and having the Lord in my life are what really gets me through!
