I am a mother who has just found out my son of 25 has been diagnosed with schizophrenia. Its been hard on both my husband and I. Yes you hear the word but does anyone really know what it means. No not until it hits home. I have several childeren and grand & great grand childern. My son just kept to himself and then there was a breaking point. Sometimes I feel so alone and I feel for my son.I know this is something I never dreamd of hitting home.
