I am a 46 year male that has been living with Type 1 diabetes for approximately 24 years. My work is that of a electronic technician. I feel I control my diabetes good but know that I can do better, but I some time I feel like I am on my own when it comes to medical treatment. I am retired Air Force, I was enrolled in VA, but after 10 years of them telling how, when, the amount of medicine to control my diabetes and not listening to my input I have started seeing a new doctor who looks for what is causing the problem, instead of treating the symptoms. but I have started having my hands and feet lockup issues. so I am looking for input from other diabetes so that I can maybe direct my doctor down the correct road of treatmentPHOTOS:
