I have had migraines since I was probably 15, but they were monthly and considered menstrual migraines. Then, in 2006 I had a crown done because of a cracked tooth and it was discovered that I was grinding my teeth. The daily headaches began in February 2007 and have continued. Some days are better than others. I always have head and neck pain, but it varies in intensity. Sometimes I have two migraines a week, and sometimes I'm given a reprieve. Sometimes it's hormonal or weather-related, but usually it's muscle and joint-related for me; I was diagnosed in 2008 with fibromyalgia. I also live with TMD. I clench my teeth when I sleep evidently (even with braces!). I continue to try various preventatives, but so far relief has been short-lived only after physical therapy. Finally, I also live with a chronic illness called interstitial cystitis, which was diagnosed in 2006.
