I am currently on disability as whatever is wrong with me gets progressivly worse. I am a widow, a mother of a son and a daughter, I have one 15 year old grandson. Most of my primary interests have changed a great deal with this illness, my new interests are finding actual diagnosis of these issues, so my children, and no one else should have to suffer like this, and maybe never know why for sure. I do volunteer work "all virtual" and do my best to stay as active as possible, at least my mind. If there are days I can't do it, the agencies I volunteer with understand that. I have always loved to read, but I have chosen to read more short stories and poetry, because I have periods where it is very difficult to read, and concentrate. I do download books to my IPod, so I can hear them, just listen and can go back if necessary to catch back up. I've always loved to garden, so now I have house plants. I love anything that makes me laugh,so a friend of mine in another state find everything funny we can, and e-mail it to each other. I belive a laugh is good for the soul. And once in awhile I like to talk to someone who really understands what it is to live like thisPHOTOS:
