Just thought I would reccomend a good book I read recently.
It is titled "Detour:My bipolar road trip in 4D" written by Lizzie Simon. She tells her story and she goes on a road trip to find other young sucessful people with Bipolar disorder and interviews them. I have a cousin who was taking meds for about 2 months. She was in a state hospital, but never got diagnosed. They released her and gave her one month suppy of meds. Hi I have a 20 year old cousin who is currently in a State Hospital in Texas, and they think she may have Bipolar disorder. She ended up in a hospital because she got beat up by an ex b/f and the first hospital she was at wanted to do a psych. eval on her also. After the eval, she got transferred to a state hospital.
