      <description>Well I had my surgery may 10th at 1:00 Pm.&amp;nbsp; I remember going to the hospital and going into pre-op but after that my mind goes blank until I got home the next day.&amp;nbsp; I don&amp;#39;t remember staying the night at all.&amp;nbsp; I do remember that I had a minor complication of fluid retention.&amp;nbsp; I had to return to the emergency room that evening and they doctors put in a Foley&amp;#39;s catheter.       <title>I made it through surgery</title>
      <description>Well I made through surgery ok and I now have the morphine pump implant.&amp;nbsp; So far it is working great.&amp;nbsp; I did have some minor complications from surgery but it all worked out in the end.&amp;nbsp; For all those who prayed for me thanks.       <description>Well its almost Thursday and I must admit I am a little nervous.&amp;nbsp; No one likes to be cut on.&amp;nbsp; I am excited to finally get the pump and start a new less painful life.&amp;nbsp;The hospital called today to confirm my surgery date so at least I know they didn&amp;#39;t forget to schedule it.&amp;nbsp; I have to go today (Wednesday) to do&amp;nbsp;pre-admit.&amp;nbsp; I guess they will draw blood do insurance stuff ect.       <title>Doctor reschedules surgery</title>
      <description>Well the doctor&amp;#39;s office rescheduled my surgery for May 10 which is only another week.&amp;nbsp; I guess I can put up with that.&amp;nbsp; They have been very apologetic after my wife called and spoke to the office manager.&amp;nbsp; I don&amp;#39;t know what she said but they got on the ball and got me into a surgery schedule at a different hospital.&amp;nbsp; She is Irish and Indian so she has that famous Irish/Indian temper.&amp;nbsp; She is nice about it but...</description>

      <title>Doctor's office screws up bigtime.</title>
      <description>So I am at the hospital yesterday going through preadmittance, when the hospital tells me there is no record of me having surgery on the second.&amp;nbsp; They tell me I am not on the surgery schedule.&amp;nbsp; So I call my doctor&amp;#39;s office and find out they forgot to schedule&amp;nbsp; it!&amp;nbsp; Man I was mad.&amp;nbsp; I told them this does not inspire a lot of confidence in them when it comes to management of the pump.&amp;nbsp; I mean I know everyone is...</description>

      <description>Five more days and I get the intrathecal morphine pump.&amp;nbsp; That is if all goes well and there are no scheduling problems.&amp;nbsp; I holding my breath though ,because the hospital was backed up on the surgery schedule.&amp;nbsp; I am hoping I don&amp;#39;t get bumped to a later date.&amp;nbsp; They got five days to do it then it&amp;#39;s to late.&amp;nbsp; I sure hope this thing makes a big difference.&amp;nbsp; During the trial I got great relief.&amp;nbsp;I &amp;nbsp;have...</description>
