this book helped

I found this book to offer very useful info that I was able to share with my niece for her panic attacks: The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook by Edmund Bourne (2000).

how to help during panic attacks

A number of my friends and family members suffer from anxiety disorders. I was recently with my niece when she had a panic attack, crying, thought she was dying, couldn't catch her breath. If would like to know if there is a way to help someone in the middle of one, it was hard to get her to focus on me.
