ABOUT ME:

I have suffered from migraines most of my life, just did not realize having a small continual headache was considered a form of migraine. Over the past four years the migraines have taken on a life of their own. It started with having a sever migriane once every few months. Then it became once every two months. This time last year I began having severe migraines every other week, and then by this summer I was having a severe migraine once a week. The neurologist ran a gauntlet of tests. It was discovered that I have sleep apnea along with the migraines. Treatment for sleep apnea has virtually stopped the "small" migraines, but I am having at least one or two major migraines a month. Over the past year I have discovered that I am allergic to many of the migraine medications. Also, some medications I am not allergic to, worked for a little bit and then became ineffective on my migraines. This is it in a nut shell. Thank you.
