I have lived with bipolar all my life. As a child, I even fely different to the happy children around me. It has consumed me, has taken over me, like another being, and not a good one. It has also made me creative, and compassionate, loving, and above all, emphatic to my fellow human beings, particularly those with mental disorders. I am writing a book, which I hope so much, I can publish, and give proceeds to bipolar support groups. I must do somthing, as I am an intelligent lady, and write beautifully. I cannot keep a job, due to my bouts of dreadfull depression, this illness has destroyed me, but has also instilled a beauty, and a creative edge, that cannot be bought. Is this the way mother nature compensates? I ask many questions, and long to live a full life again. I think this is a fantastic site, and to be able to share with all you wonderful people has been a life line. I think people in the States are so warm, so proactive, it isn't like this in the UK.
