I have been searching for the right meds to get rid of this headache that generally, i keep 4-5 days a week. My GP just referred me to UNC Chapel Hill headache clinic, hopefully that will bring some relief. I have already seen two neurologists, and feel they just throw the meds at you and off you go. The last one gave me Depakote, it didn't work, made me sick, and they said well on your next appoinment we will try something else... that was still a week and a half out from appointment. Well HELLO!!!! my head still hurts !! I can't wait a week and a half. The neuro's are just too busy with other stuff, and I guess I can understand the level of care in someone who has stroke, MS, against someone with a migraine, BUT it still hurts and I need someone who does have the time to help me with it. My GP is awesome, but at her wits end. Hope the headache clinic works, and it is great to find a place to vent, and find others in the same situation (not that I would wish it on anyone).
