I am 35 and have a fabulous husband. He is so wonderful to me when I am down and out with migraines (which is a lot). He does get short-tempered sometimes, but that is understandable. I am currently unemployed due to an increase in my migraines, but hopefully not for long. I have a great 18 year old step-daughter, who is practically my own, since I have in her life since she was 2 years old. She is about to have my 1st granddaughter in January and I am so excited. I was a little upset at first, but babies are a blessing, so I will take it as what it is!!
I come from a very close and loving family. I am really close to my parents, thank goodness. And fairly close to my siblings, when they don't drive me crazy - ha ha!
I have had migraines since about age 14, but they did not get "regular" until I was about 25. Since then I have been to several doctors, tried lots of medications, and alternative therapies. I have had some periods where they were not so bad. Right now I am trying to be hopeful. I have chronic daily headaches/transformed migraine?? I am suppose to start on a new preventative, along with my Effexor XR, in January. It is a brand new one coming out so I don't know much about it yet, but I will be sure to share all I find out about it with you guys!
