I'm a ten year PCa survivor who has benefited a lot from excellent online forums like this one. I made a decision and received treatment a few years ago. Without going into a lot of detail, lately my PSA is still down at a low level in absolute terms, but has been rising a bit, which is a concern for my physician and me. But I believe that he will come up with a good solution again as he has in the past. Although I chose the "recovered from prostate cancer" status, I've read and heard enough about other men's experiences that I don't think anyone can say with 100 percent certainty, "I'm cured." But I'm grateful for the progress that I have made, and always want to learn more to be prepared "just in case".
