I have been studying and teaching yoga world wide for the last eight years. It has been such a blessing meeting and befriending people from all walks of life. I am passionate about travel and learning about other cultures. I love to cook healthy foods and love using all kinds of Middle Eastern and Indian spices. I enjoy the arts and all things creative and expressive. I am a singer and feel that everyone should sing and everyone can sing! When you extend your exhale it helps quiet your mind and calm your nervous system. I love reading and sharing the devotional poems of Rumi and Hafiz. I have found them incredibly uplifting. Over the years I have struggled with very bad pms and chronic candida. These two health issues have been great teachers and great motivators. My debilitating pms led me to take tons of yoga classes to help alleviate my symptoms of anxiety, anger and depression which eventual lead to me becoming a yoga instructor. Candida taught me compassion for others struggling with chronic health issues. I spent so much money seeing nutritionists, quack natural healers, over priced health gurus/doctors etc...I finally set out on my own coarse of natural healing. I recommend doing some cleansing fasts and augmenting your diet with raw garlic. I am now living and teaching yoga in Buenos Aires. I am very exciting about contributing articles to healthcentral.
