I always enjoyed perfect health & came through a cholecystectomy rather well.Looking after my two girls following my divorce wasn't so hard because I took it up as a challenge.But when my mother passed away & I developed fibroids in my uteris due to a hormonal imbalance,unknowingly I began to slip into a negative frame of mind.For a long time I went through a period of hormonal imbalance until finally my doc agreed to do a hysterectomy.The operation went well but by this time I'd gone into a deep depression which brought panic attacks coupled with extreme fear,insomnia,a sense of terrble insecurity,bouts of weeping & having to take leave from my job for a few months.I'm grateful to the doc who finally cured me through Fluexotine 20 mg twice a day in the beginning with a single dose daily & tapering off by taking it on alternate days,then every two days,then three.I started taking Flux in 1995 & still take it twice a week.I want to give it up entirely but fear a relapse.Can any member tell me about how they weaned themselves off any drug they were prescribed?I find this a very wonderful site as reading about others helps one to understand oneself better.Looking forward to feedback.PHOTOS:
