False Positive HSV-2 from Past Shingles Outbreak

I have recently tested positive for HSV-2 and negative for HSV-1. This was very surprising to me because my previous partner has tested negative for both, as has my current partner. When I was 12 I had a shingles (herpes zoster) outbreak. Is there a possibility my positive result for HSV-2 may have been caused by my previous shingles outbreak? Many thanks.
