My experiences as a mother of a son with mental illness (Bipolar Disorder, Depression and ADHD) led me many years ago to the internet to seek information that would allow me to help him succeed in school as well as in life.

While searching for information I saw a need for additional resources for parents raising children with special needs as well as for adults coping with mental illness on a daily basis. I began writing and during the past ten years, my writing has focused on helping people by providing information on managing symptoms and coping with the difficulties that come along with mental illness on a daily basis.

Currently, I am a writer for the ADHD site here at Health Central and am looking forward to sharing what I have learned over the years with individuals dealing with Anxiety in their daily lives.

A year ago, I also became a Certified Life Strategies Coach.
