Hi, I'm one of those that is "living with" migraines. I've been living with them for over 20 years. I was lucky enough to inherit them from my mom. Thanks mom! ;)I'm am so glad to find a place that we can share our experiences, and even frustrations of being misunderstood.
I feel like I've tried "everything" but I'm sure there has got to be something left to try. After about a half dozen neurologists, I was referred to one that I really like. She is very understanding and very helpful. It's just too bad she didn't have the miracle cure!! :)
I'm sure like many of you who are parents, I've experienced guilt for having to spend the day in bed or miss a child's activity because of a mirgraine. And employers get upset when we miss work because of a "headache", it's the family who suffers more than any company as far as I'm concerned.
