Healthy exercise for arachnoiditis

I have had arachnoiditis for almost 3 years now.  Walking for longer than 8 minutes is intolerable.  I am trying to stay healthy and keep my muscles in shape but everything I do aggrevates the pain in my legs and low back. Is there any exercise I can do that will not aggrevate the arachnoiditis?
