ABOUT ME:

I have dealt with depression since about 1987 at first I did not realize what was wrong with me.Over the years I avoided treament because being a former Marine I felt I could tough it out.The situation got so bad I finally sought help from my Doctor who had known me for several years and I began to respond to medication.I have used different meds. but for the past 6 years wellbutrin has been effective for me.Like many I have dealt with things in my life that have amplified my depression such as divorce ,my son`s death,failed relationships ,medical issues ,most recently my Father`s death.The point is that Iknow that my depression is not my fault it is the way my brain works and Iwill have it all my life but over the years I have learned hot to fight it and above all to reachout for help when I truly need it.
