This all started when I was standing - just standing - in my kitchen last Friday when a nasty pain went thru my ankle. it got progressively worse and I finally went to the emergency Sunday. I used pred, mtx and plaquenil and got significantly better - I had very mild RA in my opinion. I went off all meds December 07 and did really well all year until 6 weeks ago. My 'friend' has returned with a vengeance. I am waiting for the rheumy to call me with an appointment.   In the meantime, my wonderful internist gave me some mobic and darvocet for some relief.
