ABOUT ME:

I live in Lake Forest,California. I have four wonderful grown children. My youngest son is in the navy. I work in the mental health field. I am a happy person,I have to work at this a bit,but then again who doesn't? I have just completed a book that is at the publishers and will be available in September. My book is a 'must tell' story about the bipolar that my family lived with through three generations.I was happy when I found this site and hope to be active in sending and receiving messages. I believe that full recovery is possible for those of us who suffer from mental disorders! I speak publically on behalf of people like myself who have a mental illness. I know there is still alot of stigma but I don't have a problem telling people about my diagnosis. I do this as a way to help others,and pay a little back to so many people that have helped me. I believe that my bipolar disorder gives me the ability to be creative,I appreciate that. I am currently working on a new story. It is a supernatural, science thriller about the end of the world! I enjoy positive people who believe in living their life to the fullest,no matter what might prevent them from doing so. I love hearing about other peoples stories. I enjoy a good laugh and find humor in so many situations. I have the ability to laugh at myself.I meet life as it comes to me and consider myself to be a very grounded and solid person.
