DRUGS I AM TAKING:
Inderal
ABOUT ME:
I was diagnosed with a brain anyeriusm in Oct. 2007 after having numbness on my left side, which ironically wasn't caused by the anyeriusm but by the chiari malformation. I had never had a migraine until after my anyeriusm surgery in Jan. 2008 and began having more numbness and severe migraines. At first they assumed it had something to do with my surgery and then decided that it was from my chiari malformation, or at least they hoped and I had my second brain surgery in Oct. 2008. Unfortuantely as my neurosurgeon suspected, the migraines didn't go away and now they have me on Inderal which helps but I still deal with headaches/migraines almost on a daily basis. My family doctor would like me to increase my dosage hoping it would help but is afraid my BP would go way to low and the Topomax my neurologist had me on caused so many side effects and weight loss it was necessary to take me off that medication. I am at my wits end, and am looking for any advice to help deal with these headaches that won't go away.
