I am a pharmacist who has had migraines for 40 years. They were diagnosed 21 years ago when they became more severe, chronic, and daily. Like so many migraneurs, I have seen physician after physician with varying results. I was fortunate to have two good neurologists, but they were my first and second docs. After that, it seemed that things just went from bad to worse and worse.
Just as most of you, I basically had to educate myself in order to save myself. I ended up finding a physician who understands pain management and migraines, and with his assistance and agreement worked out my own treatment strategies.
When I first read Ms Robert's book LIVING WELL WITH MIGRAINE DISEASES AND HEADACHES, I at first thought the book that I had been researching and planning to write had already been done!
But, as I have continued to consider and do more research, I can see a need for explaining just how to make the plan that almost every good text about migraines recommends.
Subsequently, I really want to hear how everybody else out there is doing it. I hope that won't be beyond the scope of this forum.
Thanks
