Life is my athletic event that I train for. My life has always been centered around fitness as an athlete in school, as a firefighter in college, and now as a physician who specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Eating nutritiously and staying physically fit have given me the ability to perform on the basketball court, on the fireline, and in the clinic. As a pain and rehabilitation specialist, I constantly stress to patients that improving health is the ultimate way to feel better.Diet and Exercise were not stressed in my medical training at the University of California, Davis. But, after a life altering injury, I found the benefits of fitness once again. Now, I am here to practice what I preach.
