I spent 2 and1/2 years managing the Samaritans phone lines (suicide)back in the late 80's. I remember doing an overnight with a retired nurse who was an RN in the emergency room of a Boston hospital. I am 70 years old and had a bypass Xmass week of 1979. This coming Xmass I will begin my 18th year without drugs of any kind and a cholesterol in the high 220's.
