ABOUT ME:

I worked as MA for 20 years before getting injured at Kaiser. They denied my claim. I then became an injured worker, and disabled. My cervical spine had multi level problems which were not surgical. The pain was severe. I am married, and we have 5 children, this happened when my youngest was five. Life changed as I would ever know it again. The pain disabled me. The doctors called me a liar. Some doctors mentioned I had Fibromylgia, nothing I had ever heard of, but in the next breath said I was probably faking it. The lowered my pain medicine down to aspirin, which caused me so much pain I could not funtion. Finally I began to read about the law, and learned about the "pain suffer's bill of Rights" and since then, I have been treated well and with respect, with a new doctor who believes me, does not over treat, but medicates me enough to keep me on my feet. I will be honest my pain never ever is gone. It just gets to a level where I can breath and manage it. I never over take a pain medicine, as never have I ever felt a "high" the best I can ever expect is the edge off the pain.
